Happy New Year

Alone in the middle of thriumph.

This morning I went to the pharmacy to buy drug for my sorethroat. I met a couple from Dutch that can not speak Indonesian, and the officer can not speak English well. They looked for pain killer, and the officer give them one kind of drug but can not explain anything.

I helped her to explain how to drink the drug, the effect that may occur, and everybody were happy.

One thing I remember, the husband told me that he needed a drug but no allergy effect, because tonight is special. They come to Bali to celebrate New Year.

Deep insight my heart, I think what the special thing that make us celebrating new year ?  With many parades, musics, fireworks, trumpets, drink, beer, special dinner ?

My family always celebrate new year with special times for family. No party, just trumpet or juice and peanuts, then we took time to tell story, sharing, or just playing chest. After I have married, another tradition, but I realize one important thing. New year celebration is nothing without new heart. New commitments, new hopes, not only celebration, drink until drunk.

The most important is the prayer, to give every dreams in God's hand. No future without God sovereignity.
