Salah satu lagu favorit saya, bukan karena siapa penyanyinya, tetapi karena lirik lagu yang membuat hati saya tertempelak malu. Lagu ini Ditulis oleh John Lennon dan Yoko Ono, Dirilis 1971 dengan latar belakang perang di Vietnam.

Seruan if you want it, war is over now, merupakan pesan utama lagu ini. Baru - baru inisaya membaca berita di yahoo, bahwa dua buah negara satu saudara bertetangga perbatasan, Korea Utara dan Korea Selatan berseteru karena masalah peletakan pohon Natal.

Bahkan anak saya yang masih 2,5 tahun pun, lebih mengerti Natal sebagai Santa Claus dan hadiah, serta pohon Natal yang dihias begitu cantiknya. Setiap pergi ke suatu tempat, hiasan Natal yang selalu ada adalah Christmas tree yang begitu cantik dengan gemerlap lampu - lampunya.

So, this is Christmas. What kind of celebration do we have in our minds, thoughts, and believes ? Far away, about two thousands years ago, Jesus came to the world silently, nobody knew or realized. When there were so many signs, no body believed that He is The Son of God. And sadly to say, I think many of the people of the world still ignore Him as The Real Star on Chrismas Day and every living days. Parties, celebrations, choirs, peace that sounds everywhere, but no Jesus inside.

God, please forgive me who have a distortion of the real Christmas.

Jesus is more than good stuffs or charity, or just love and peace. He is Almighthy God who come to the world to save the lost. Amazing grace that He saves me, who is blind and lost.
